Arturo Solano
Arturo Solano was born on April 7th, 1951. Ever since he was very young he got involved in the wood field because his father owned a small turnery. With a great skill and a lot of inspiration, Arturo created small turned pieces at the age of 10. Around 1970, the small factory became Sol & Sol, the first souvenir factory in Costa Rica. By that time, Arturo was the designer of the exclusive products that the factory exported, at such level that he got awarded with several national recognitions. His creations have been gifted to presidents and international personalities. By 1980, he established his own company, which is now known with the name of Art Factory, as a result of many years of experience and hard work.
